FINALLY WENT TO VILLA MAURI. It was a good night of just relaxing and talking, forgetting about work. The great kings of my belly are all satisfied - for now.

Eclipse Nada

SO I WAS WAITING FOR THE ECLIPSE, which was supposed to appear starting 4.42pm with the maximum at around 5.45pm but the sky was too cloudy for anything. Plus, there were just too many trees and by the time the sun was at about 5.45pm, it was already behind the trees. So I ended up with a bunch of useless photos and some ugly cactus shots (there were these cacti all around the balcony). I should've gone to that Yayasan meet. At least experts were there to help people view the rare phenomenon. Looks like it's YouTube for me then.

And yes, the above photos were taken this evening. Not sharing the cactus shots.

HERE ARE TWO PHOTOS, taken at different times of the day, different light directions producing different colours.

I love taking photos of people sprinting from the front. Their facial expressions to their body language are just entertaining. Too bad when this usually happens, the sprint ends as quickly as your shutter speed.

I'm just testing the wireless at work. I haven't got much to say, just thought I'd post the photo above since I've been meaning to share it for awhile now.

Heavyrain Aftermath

Lastnight's rain was crazy. I've never heard it come down so hard continuously that long. But the aftermath was worse. Driving to work this morning, I saw the underpass at the Kiulap roundabout flooded, the roads filled with mud and a landslide covering over half of a road. My 30-40 minutes drive to work turned to over an hour. Let's hope that the coming days won't be as bad.
